Internet vs. Solar Power

The internet cheapens land by decreasing the importance of location.

Yet solar increases the value of land by turning the surface area of the Earth into a source of energy.

    and people always want to live around other people (urban effect)

  2. Ah true. Then perhaps these two trends act to decrease the disparity in land prices as solar drives the price of rural land up and the internet drives the price of urban land down (though the urban effect keeps it quite high).
